Elki Jacobs - Background
Elki Jacobs was born and raised in Connecticut, in the United States, as the eldest daughter of a father who is a lawyer and a mother who is an opera singer. The education she received at home - with a love for art. music, literature and cinema - led her to study acting and theater at the Syracuse University and later at the Drama Center in London.
During her theater studies in London, Elki met her future husband, Amit Gazit, who was a directing student at the time and who is currently a theater director. Prior to their marriage, Elki returned to New York, where she appeared in several plays and movies, before marrying in the early 1980s and ultimately settling in Israel. The two currently live in Tel Aviv, with their two daughters - Ayala and Anna - and a silver-colored cat named Mitzi.

Elki began her career in Israel at the Be'er-Sheva Municipal Theater, Haifa Theater, the Jerusalem Khan and Habima National Theater. Elki also participated in several Israeli films and in international productions filmed in Israel.
Elki began designing and producing events in 1993 and has grown to become one of the leading designers in Israel. Elki feels highly privileged to share the most personal and happy moments of her clients, since every occasion or event is a dream come true for the client.

Elki is known for her attention to detail and she therefore makes a point of working only with the very best professionals in each sector (florists, set designers, seamstresses, event producers, etc.), all of whom are daring and imaginative visionaries who will do their utmost to put together the ideal event for the customer.

Her design motto is: " Less is More" - the correct combination between design elements, materials, textures and color - a clean and meticulous approach to design.
The theatrical creativity, the endless innovation, the personal attention and the professional team that has been accompanying Elki throughout the years - have all served to create a loyal client base who have enjoyed seeing their fantasies realised …
Elki's unique floral designs and decorations can be seen in weddings, corporate events and private parties.
Elki is the resident designer of the Hilton Hotel in Tel-Aviv.
